Job description
The Ohio SPCA & Humane Society is currently looking for a veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis, with possibilities of full time position. In this role, a veterinarian will have the opportunity to work both within the shelter and participate in low-cost pay and neuter services to animals in need.

Responsibilities
•Collaborating with experienced Veterinary Assistants and working alongside a dedicated and knowledgeable shelter team
•Together, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to animals within the shelter as well as those in the community

Veterinarian can choose work schedule. Looking for 1-2 days per week in shelter and availability for virtual communications when needed.
•This allows for a work schedule that can accommodate personal preferences and other commitments
Furthermore, this role minimizes public interaction and eliminates billing responsibilities, allowing veterinarians to focus primarily on providing spay and neuter services
•This allows them to concentrate on their core veterinary responsibilities without additional administrative burdens

Public Service Loan Forgiveness
The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program forgives the remaining debt on eligible loans for borrowers who have worked at least 10 years in public service or the nonprofit sector. It's a powerful resource for veterinarians working in public health, public service, or private nonprofits.
